Feb 16, 2007 Delta 2 Launch
Today, United Launch Alliance, a joint venture of The Boeing Co. and Lockheed Martin Corp, launched NASA's THEMIS Mission.
Todays launch, Jenkins said, "... is the first time a NASA mission has launched five spacecraft at one time on one Launch Vehicle..."
The five spacecraft will gather data about the auroras caused by solar storms. Data will be collected over the North and South Poles of Earth.
Jenkins recalled telling his wife, "One day I'm going to work for those guys", meaning NASA.
Willis Jenkins also had some advice for young minorities and others who might aspire to work for "those guys", NASA.

"Don't stop dreaming."
"Continue to dream."
"Continue to dream, because dreams do come           true."
